What happens when the cone crusher suddenly stops running? How to solve it?

The main machine of the cone crusher suddenly stops, commonly known as “stuffy car”. I believe many people have encountered this situation. Today we will talk about how to solve the problem of “stuffy” cone crusher!

The reasons that cause the cone crusher to be “stuffy” are as follows:

1. The voltage is too low or too high

When the voltage at the construction site is unstable or too low, it is easy to force the cone crusher to protect itself and shut down suddenly. Therefore, after starting up, the operator must check whether the voltage is normal.

Solution: Pay attention to the voltage situation and keep the voltage stable.

2. The discharge port is blocked

During the production process of the cone crusher, excessive or uneven feeding will cause the discharge port to be blocked, causing the cone crusher to have excessive production load, fuses, and shutdown.

Solution: After starting the machine, check whether the discharge port of the cone crusher is blocked by residue. If there is, it should be cleaned immediately. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the uniform particle size of the input materials, not too much or too little.

3. The belt is too loose

The cone crusher relies on belts to transmit power. If the belt in the drive groove is too loose, it will cause the belt to slip and not provide enough power for the normal operation of the machine, causing the cone crusher to shut down suddenly.

Solution: Check whether the belt tightness is appropriate and adjust it appropriately to prevent it from being too tight or too loose.

4. The eccentric shaft is stuck

When the eccentric bearing sleeve is loose or falls off, there is no gap on both sides of the frame bearing seat, and the eccentric shaft is stuck and cannot rotate normally. At this time, the cone crusher suddenly stops and becomes “stuck”.

Solution: Pay attention to the position of the eccentric bearing sleeve to prevent it from getting stuck.

5. The bearing is damaged.

Bearings are very important components in the cone crusher and play a role in reducing the friction coefficient during the working process. If the bearing is damaged, other components will not work properly, causing sudden shutdown.

Solution: Pay attention to daily maintenance, which is extremely important for bearings, and it is necessary to do a good job of lubrication to reduce wear.
