What is the difference between the casting process of sodium silicate sand, resin sand, and coated sand?

Although sodium silicate sand, resin sand, and coated sand belong to foundry casting, their processes are different, mainly due to the different binders and curing agents used, so their production processes are different. The following is a brief introduction of Shanvim Company:

Water glass sand casting: water glass is used as a binder and quartz sand is mixed at a certain ratio to form modeling sand. After the mold is molded, it is cured by blowing carbon dioxide, and then the mold is removed, the box is closed, and the casting is poured.

Resin sand casting: use resin as a binder (curing agent is required) and quartz sand in a certain ratio to make modeling sand. After the mold is molded, it will be naturally cured at room temperature, and then the mold is removed, the box is closed, and the casting is poured.

Coated sand casting: Put the quartz sand into the sand mixer after heating, add resin, curing agent, and anti-caking agent to coat the surface of the quartz sand with a resin film. After mixing it evenly, let it cool and break for later use. It needs to be heated and solidified during use. .
