A cone crusher is suitable for crushing various mid-hard and above mid-hard ores and rocks. It is widely used in sand and gravel crushing and other sectors. Like other equipment, the cone crusher also needs careful maintenance. The following is the knowledge related to the daily maintenance of cone crusher.
In the process of using the equipment, we should operate according to the operation requirements in the user’s manual, which can reduce the failure rate of the equipment and better ensure the personal safety of operators. In addition, attention should be paid to the following aspects:
1. Carefully inspect the external parts of the equipment, such as the valve plate, bonnet and valve seat of crusher, and clean or repair and replace these parts in time.
2. Carefully check the safety valve, pressure regulator and air distribution unit, to ensure the safe operation of the equipment in the production process and eliminate the threat to the personal safety of operators.
3. Carefully inspect the bearings in all parts of crusher, to ensure that the lubrication system is not damaged. If problems are found, maintenance measures should be taken immediately.
In addition to the daily inspection and maintenance work described above, a cone crusher should be overhauled on regular basis, so as to find potential problems of the equipment before they occur, and solve the “fault” from the source. Users should formulate corresponding overhaul system according to the nature of materials and production requirements. Regular overhaul is generally divided into three types: minor overhaul, medium overhaul and major overhaul.
1. Min or overhaul: Inspect the spindle suspension device, dust proof device, eccentric sleeves and bevel gears of crusher, liner plates, transmission shaft, thrust discs, lubrication system and other parts, and replace the lubricating oil. The minor overhaulis carried out once every 1-3 months.
2. Medium overhaul: Medium overhaul covers all the contents of minor overhaul; inspect the liner plates, and replace them if necessary; inspect and repair transmission shaft, eccentric sleeves, inner and outer bushings, thrust discs, suspension device, electrical equipment, etc. The medium overhaul is carried out once every 6-12 months.
3. Major overhaul: Major overhaul coversall the contents of medium overhaul; inspect and repair or replace the crusher frame and crossbeam, and repair basic parts. The major overhaul is carried out once every 5 years.
