Maintenance of important parts in jaw crusher (2)

3. Jaw Plate faults and maintenance

The faults of fixed and movable jaw plates mainly includcrack, fracture, grinding, wear or deflection of bearing hole as well as connection screw tripping, etc. Crack is a normal error in crusher. The general sequence of crack maintenance is judging first. Cleaning the crack and treatment it. It can be judged by white powder or magnetic particle inspection if the crack exists. After confirming, we need to cleaning crack and then treat it. Patch weld are generally used for crack treatment.

Fracture is also a common fault and appear suddenly. After testing and verification in production, we can adopt an appropriate patch weld method to repair movable jaw plates completely. Before welding, groove forming, preheating and other technical treatments should be done before welding.

Jaw crusher is a common construction machinery through correct operation and meticulous maintenance to ensure its service life and work efficiency. In daily production, it is necessary to standardize the operation, focusing on checking the movable jaw plate, wear-resistant plate and eccentric shaft of crusher, and strengthening the maintenance technology level of these key components to ensure normal production.

Shanvim is not only producing professional wear-resistant crusher parts but also providing technological guidance.

Shanvim Industry (Jinhua) Co., Ltd., established in 1991, is a wear-resistant parts casting enterprise; it is mainly engaged in the wear-resistant parts such as mantle, jaw plate, hammer, blow bar, ball mill liner, etc.; there are medium and high , Ultra-high manganese steel, wear-resistant alloy steel, low, medium and high chromium cast iron materials, etc.; mainly for the production and supply of wear-resistant castings for mining, cement, building materials, electric power, crushing plants, machinery manufacturing and other industries; annual production capacity of more than 15,000 tons。
